New 2023 GMC Sierra 3500 Release Date, Specs, Price – The truck managed to capture a fascinating mix of trim levels, something we have never seen before. GMC Sierra HD, which includes the Sierra 2500HD & 3500HD, was completely redesigned and re-engineered for the 2020 model year. The truck has been selling hotcakes since then. Sales have increased 23.2% to 73.777 units in the 2020 calendar year.
Even though the truck performs well in the market, there are still some issues. This is why GM has launched a refresh. The truth is that GM Authority first reported that the Sierra HD would be refreshed. This is similar to its Light Duty brother, the Sierra 1500. We’re now showing you the first photos of the refreshed 2023 GMC Sierra HD.
This prototype 2023 GMC Sierra HD features a set of placeholder headlights and what appears to be a new grille. Even though it has a new set of tail lights, the rear bumper appears to be unchanged from the current model. It is unlikely that either the box or tailgate sheet metal will be modified. The same applies to the BedStep which was introduced with the 2020 Sierra HD.
Unofficially, this prototype 2023 GMC Sierra HD is fully covered. This confirms that a new cockpit will soon be available. The new cockpit will have a completely redesigned center stack with a new screen and an entirely new operating system.
The camouflage makes it easy to see the prototype’s grille, which is otherwise unobscured. It appears to have Denali undertones, with a lot of grille mesh specifics to replace the chunky, segmented appearance found in the current Sierra HD trim levels. This grille is blacked out, and not blingy. However, we are unsure if it is for aesthetic reasons or just to keep information lower than visible. Other chrome details can be found on the truck such as the eight-spoke chrome and black wheels. There are also chrome side options that match those available around the Denali and other trims. However, they are distinct from the Black Sport measures or the black high clearance measures that can be found around the AT4.
Exterior and Interior
The brand-new 2023 GMC Sierra 3500 may retain its design. The exterior might get a few drinks. Its durable appearance will remain. The large-task truck looks equally stylish and intense. Some design cues are SUV-like. The days when pickup trucks were only useful workhorses are long gone. This design will be reproduced by Sierra 3500 in its innovative Silverado 1500.
This includes a very similar body and a more similar front fascia. The top grille will now be slightly larger and the front lights will be reshaped. You will notice a new Part Phase characteristic at the rear that can be used to recommend Sierra products. In 2023, 18-inch rims will be the standard. Sierra 3500 Denali, a luxury model that comes with more stainless trims and premium rims, is a great option for those who want a higher-end finish.
You can add even more gear to the next product. Many of these additional features will be familiar to those who have already completed the bottom cut. The majority of the driver-help tools are recommended. Denali cut offers a 15-inch go-up display, leather furniture, and heated-up controls. Sierra is available in three different cab layouts. There are also team cab setup supplies that can accommodate half a dozen people.
2023 GMC Sierra 3500 Specs
A new engine selection will not be available for the Sierra 3500 as it draws near to 2023. GM will not retrace its engine selections as Ford did. The 6.0-liter engine will continue to be a standard engine choice. It can also produce around 300 horsepower and 333 lb-ft of torque. The identical motor unit is available with different results. It produces 360 hp as well as 380 lb. feet of torque. The 6.6-liter Duramax is the third option.
The turbodiesel powertrain produces more than 445 horsepower and a remarkable 910 lb-feet of twisting energy. Diesel edition is best for heavy-duty jobs. All three options use the same 6-pace intelligent transmission.
New 2023 GMC Sierra 3500 Release date & Price
The 2023 GMC Sierra’s price will not change. This means that you can get this pickup truck with a lot of responsibility for around $38,000. The Denali model, which is the most expensive in its class, costs more than $60,000 and offers luxurious features. General Motors could release the entire Sierra selection in the final quarter of 2020.
